Microsoft is the biggest producer of the PC software in the world. Its product selection extends from the operation systems through the complex network and business software to the internet technologies. The company established in 1975 is no more than 90 countries of the world present, the number of its employees exceeds the 57 000 persons.

Microsoft Hungary was established in 1993 with only two persons. The number of its employees is today nearly 150 persons. Péter Vityi has been the company's managing director since 2000, who received 2002 the "IT Manager of the year" prize.

The most well-known product of Microsoft is the Windows operation system, which is the basic platform of millions of computers and digital tools worldwide. The Microsoft Office, compacting the office programmes, is the most widespread Windows application. The divaricating group of the server products gives the other pillar of the Microsoft basic platforms, which offer wide-ranging services in the area of efficient communication, file and data management, business process modelling and management. The Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics AX are the products of the Microsoft Business Solutions branch, which optimize the business and decision making processes of the small, medium and big sized companies.
