QAD Enterprise Applications is a complete software package, covering all key processes of a company, through which these processes can be measured and monitored. It also serves as a guide to companies, as it presents Best Practices to them. QAD improves the efficiency of business processes and decreases risks. Over 8,000 companies use the QAD solution as an ERP system, all over the world.
The QAD technology has three main parts.
- Firstly, there is the data base layer, where OpenEdge (Progress) data bases contain table definitions and data developed by QAD and ISYS-ON.
- Programs, applications and the business logic are in the application layer.
- Finally, the presentation layer uses the Microsoft .NET framework to present QAD Enterprise Applications running on the clients.
